Making babies' world better - Our most important mission yet!🌍
In a world full of uncertainty and challenges, one thing we want to be certain of as parents is that we're doing the best that we can to make our babies' world better. The team at Pampers is all about ensuring that all parents get the support they deserve and that is why they’re on a very important mission to support local communities by always being there for all babies and their families!

Making babies' world better
For parents, having quick and easy access to the products and services needed for their little ones wherever and whenever they need them is paramount! However, over two-thirds of parents last year didn’t have access to these products they needed because they weren’t readily available near them.
So how does Pampers help local communities?👨👩👧👦
-
By being made locally 🥰
Pampers believes in providing families the same trusted support Pampers nappies provide their babies. Did you know that a whopping 93% of Pampers nappies sold in the UK are made in Pampers' Manchester factory? This is why you will always find your trusted Pampers nappies on-shelf, no matter where you are! And because Pampers owns and controls every single step of the production process, they're able to bring you high-quality nappies that are checked by +500 sensors before making it onto your bubba's bottom. 🤩
-
By donating 500,000 nappies to charity 🤗
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and that's why Pampers leaves no parent on their own! Pampers believes in the power of coming together as a community and supporting each other. Be it sharing nappy advice or poonami conversations, coming together can help make a massive change in babies' lives! So to help build a better world for babies of today and tomorrow, Pampers is donating over half a million nappies to charitable initiatives that support families in your local communities all across the UK! 👩🏿🤝👩🏻

Very proud of my local community, they kept the local food bank well stocked by either donation food/toiletries and money to help those needing assistance at this terrible time.

The way people have rallied around helping with people who had to shield collecting shopping, prescriptions and during the panic buying when people struggled to get baby essentials such as milk and nappies people donated those things to the people really in need

To be honest, the video made me cry (I know, it might be the hormones 🙈). Helping the community and the parents in need it's amazing. This kind of gestures makes me very emotional.
Also, I am curious as well as how the nappies are made.

I love how my local community pulled together to do shopping for those shielding, the "baby bank" (also known as baby basics) a free service for parents who were struggling were still operating and doing a collection service and that the food bank started doing deliveries to those who used them!

If there is anything positive that has come out of the pandemic is sense of community and the willingness of people of go extra miles to help those in need. I was pregnant with my baby when the pandemic first started and was offered services like grocery shopping, picking of prescription etc by local volunteers.

My community is lovely! If someone needs something they've only got to ask and there us always lots of people willing to help them! Our community is raising money to help upgrade the local park!

My local community has kept reciprocity at the forefront throughout the pandemic. The act of doing something for someone without wanting back in return is so rife and particular with new mums, the elderly and the vulnerable. Local messaging groups were created for support and to ask for help with things like shopping and collecting parcels. My neighbours are fantastic and I know I could count on them if needed. A few packs of baby wipes have been shared amongst our street that’s for sure!

Amazing community spirit! Helping each other, the church opening for food parcels and drop off. Covid support too.
Everyone coming together.
The local baby groups have recently reopened and are so welcoming and friendly! Couldn't ask for a better place to be a part of xx

I love what Pampers is doing for communities but the phrase ‘as a parent’ is offensive, gate keeping and goes against the message. There are plenty more people involved in raising and caring for a child that a video about community shouldn’t exclude these aunts and uncles, friends, grandparents, siblings, step-parents etc. It takes a village as they say and it doesn’t take ‘a parent’ to know it’s annoying to run out of nappies. Don’t exclude the non-parents!

I absolutely love Pampers! Supporting all of those families by donating is just incredible! Supporting local communities is key to making sure we look after eachother and if I have learned anything through the pandemic it's that we are all fully capable of looking after one another!

It's nice to see a large company donating to baby banks. Something which helps families who really need it. I hope more companies do it too!

During the pandemic our local community has really pulled together, food banks, discounted shops for struggling families, walking groups when permitted, a care for the vunerable scheme. we ourselves struggled and got help as our daughter was newborn, money was tight and i was in the shielded category... just amazing

I've loved being part of a community that has come together in difficult times to unite and help each other out! I've seen mums offering other mums tips on juggling babies, work and housework, the elderly being helped out by the young and the local station staff were even giving out chocolates the other day to make people smile! Little gestures can mean a lot!

I've been using a local food bank through the pandemic and its been a life saver. Having people donate baby items as well as food has helped me loads and has been appreciated.
